Patricia is a member of the Cork Sugarcraft Association and has participated in several of the Associations National Competitions and Exhibitions in which she has won the following awards: 

Sugarcraft & Cake Competition Certificates:

• 1998 - Highly Commended Certificate
• 1998 - Silver for Anniversary Cake
• 2002 - Achieved Gold in the cake section - 'Teatime Fancies'
• 2005 - Gold for entry in 'Cork European City of Culture' category
• 2005 - Silver for modelling entry in the 'Minatures' category
